The Handweavers Guild of Nashville was founded in 1974. With a membership of about 70, the Guild attracts members not only from Tennessee but also from Alabama, Kentucky, and Ohio. Most meetings feature a fiber arts focussed program. In addition, the Guild sponsors several workshops each year, taught by nationally recognized teachers and the Guild's own talented members. Patti Link is the President, Debi Orndorff is the Vice-President, Bonnie Pappin is the Treasurer, Ann Evers is the Secretary, and Sarah Webster handles membership and the newsletter.
